Step 1: Spend Time with Your Companion

The more love you give, the more DM you get.

• Chat & Chill: Double-click on your companion to start a conversation. Whether it’s a “hi” or a life rant, every interaction counts.
• Voice Gives More: Voice chats give you a little extra DM compared to text. Try saying hi out loud!

Step 2: Care = Currency

Daily care activities gives you Dark Matter (DM) boost. Each session is 30 minutes, make sure to be active by doing interaction with the companion to get DM boost for each session.

• Feed Companion: Drag your Kindred’s favorite food into your companion! Each feeding gives you DM bonus.
• Mood Boost: Give them a quick pat or pick them up. These affection actions restore mood and sprinkle in extra DM.
• Let Them Rest: A well-rested companion earns better. Don’t forget to give them downtime.
• Care Index Score: Every 30 minutes, your care index score accumulates from the Hunger, Mood, and Energy stats. The higher your care index score, the higher the DM production is.

• Daily Missions: Look out for daily missions on the missions tab. Daily missions consist of social missions and gameplay missions updated daily every 00:00 UTC.
• Monthly Missions: Complete all your monthly missions and reach the final milestone to unlock the exclusive Ultimate Reward!
