Extension Guide Leaderboard

We're excited to introduce the Companion Leaderboard – a system that rewards you for actively taking care of your companion. The more you interact with your companion, the more points you'll earn, helping you climb to the top of the leaderboard!

How the Leaderboard Works

The Companion Leaderboard runs on a point system where points are awarded every 30 minutes based on your Care Index Score. The Care Index reflects how well you’re taking care of your companion, based on three key factors:

• Hunger: Keep your companion fed.
• Energy: Ensure they get enough rest.
• Mood: Play with, pat, and pick up your companion to keep them happy.

Steps to Start Earning Points:

1. Care Index Score of 70 or higher: You need to get your Care Index Score above 70 to start earning points. Keep your companion’s Hunger, Energy, and Mood meters filled.
2. Care Index Updates: Your Care Index Score updates every 30 minutes, and the higher your score, the more points you’ll earn during each cycle.

Focusing on Active Interactions

Points are only awarded for active interactions. You must engage with your companion consistently—AFK (away from keyboard) time won’t count. This ensures the leaderboard reflects those who actively care for their companion.

Leaderboard Rules: How to Earn Points

To maximize your points, follow these rules:

• Your Care Index must be 70 or higher to start earning points.
• Points per cycle are based on your Care Index at the time of the update.
• Ensure your companion is active or engaged within 20 minutes before each cycle. For example:
  • If a cycle runs at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, etc., and your last interaction with your companion was at 10:09, you won’t earn points for the 10:30 cycle. Make sure you interact with your companion within 20 minutes before each cycle to get points.

Monthly Reset and Rewards

At the end of each month, the leaderboard will reset. The top-ranked users will receive rewards based on their position. The next day, the leaderboard starts fresh, giving everyone a new opportunity to compete for the top spots.
